The clock is ticking for speculative sci-fi series Harvest. If made, the television or web series will focus on survivors of a worldwide virus outbreak that has only one antidote: fresh human brains. Yum.
In a video fund-raising pitch for the project (embedded above), Harvest filmmaker Jim Ojala says the series needs $3,000 by Sunday.
To fill the coffers, Ojala and company are using the Kickstarter crowd-funding mechanism, which allows DIY impresarios to hawk works-in-progress to fans and investors. (So far, the Harvest harvest sits at $2,390.)
