Rinsch's current film is one of the five shorts in Philips' Parallel lines and it seems he has a penchant for working with robotics. The buzz on his futuristic action thriller, The Gift, may well make up for his being passed over for Ridley Scott as director for the Alien pre-quel. Could this be the passport to a feature?
